This writing workshop needs your support at MS/HS 223 (The Lab School) on Thursday, July 25th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Sixth-graders will work with coaches to edit their personal narratives about an experience of their own where they struggled to adapt without losing sight of who they are. Their program is based on the graphic novel “New Kid” by Jerry Craft.

To sign up, contact volunteer@behindthebook.org with program code 2236JC-K.

We provide advance information on your role, and hold a brief orientation right before the workshop.
