You must be at least 18 to volunteer.

iMentor partners with high schools in low-income communities, where a majority of students served will be the first in their families to attend college.

We match every student with a mentor (1:1 matches), and equip our mentors with the resources to support their mentees on the path to college graduation.

Our mentors are college-educated volunteers who commit to working one-on-one with a student for a minimum of three years. Mentors will connect online with their student once a week and meet in-person once a month, using the iMentor curriculum to guide them.

In order to become a mentor, you must attend a Mentor Orientation. There, you will receive information about best practices in supporting your mentee, as well as important follow up steps. As we match mentors and mentees throughout the spring and summer, we want to make sure you are ready to be matched as soon as possible. RSVP for a Mentor Orientation today!
