Volunteers are an invaluable resource and your weekly contribution will make a lasting impact on our patients. We are looking for dependable adult volunteers who are able to commit to volunteering on a weekly basis. Volunteers may choose weekend or weekday service and can be placed in an inpatient unit, hospice residence, nursing home or patient home. There is increasing demand for bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteers in the Bronx. -Must be 18 years or older
-15 hours of training (4 hours training for clerical/office volunteers)
-Criminal Background Check (no charge to applicant)
-Medical Clearance (no charge to applicant)
-3-4 hours per week
-1-year commitment
